My Approach
Life is challenging, messy and painful.
Life is exciting, joyful and healing.
Life is life. No matter where you are in life’s journey, the journey of life is ever changing. Whichever type of change you believe is best for you, I do believe change is best accomplished with others, in collaboration, not in isolation.

The first 8 years of my career were spent working in a Marriage and Family Therapy practice. The training those years provided translates into my work with individuals. I aim to equip clients with tools to not only navigate life for themselves, but life with other people, knowing that pain caused in relationships is best healed in relationships.

My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, self-worth issues, relationships, feeling stuck, trauma and spirituality. I utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR, Person-Centered and Internal Family Systems to help you experience healing and growth in these areas. I am Prepare/Enrich Certified as well as a CPCS (Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor).

Regardless of what a client brings to the room, my role remains the same, to serve as a guide to help lead you toward healing and growth using methods most suited to your needs. I am your advocate who will affirm you and your experience while providing tough love along the way, but with an unconditionally accepting stance, I believe and trust we can accomplish a lot together.

I am extensively trained in the integration of psychology and Christianity. Christian counseling tools are available for integration upon client request.
