My Approach
Life’s challenges aren’t meant to be faced alone. I work with children (9+), teens, and young adults to build the emotional, cognitive, and social skills needed to navigate challenges at school or work, at home, and in relationships.
When working with younger clients, I collaborate closely with parents and families, believing they are an essential part of growth and lasting change. I provide parents with practical tools, strategies, and insights to better support their child outside of sessions and foster meaningful progress at home.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, developmental challenges, trauma, grief, shame, self-harm, suicidal ideation, identity concerns, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience and a special passion for working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism. For those who desire it, I offer thoughtful integration of faith into the counseling process as well.
My years of experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, along with my own personal journey, have reinforced my belief that healing happens through relationships built on trust, safety, and feeling genuinely understood. Regardless of what brings someone to counseling, my goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, valued, and supported as we work together to build meaningful coping tools, foster resilience, and reconnect with the strength and hope already within them.
