My Approach

Life’s challenges don’t have to be faced alone. Whether you’re a child, teen, young adult, or parent seeking support, my goal is to offer a space where clients feel seen, understood, and valued. For over a decade, I’ve worked with children and teens with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges across inpatient and outpatient settings, and this experience has shown me that healing is best fostered by relationships built on trust and and feeling genuinely understood.

I specialize in working with children ages 9 and up, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, grief, shame, identity concerns, developmental struggles, and life transitions. I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism. When working with younger clients, I collaborate closely with parents, recognizing the essential role families play in fostering lasting growth.

My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and tailored to each individual client. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, somatic practices, person-centered therapy, expressive therapies, and trauma-focused interventions to help clients build emotional regulation, resilience, and healthier connections. For those who desire it, I also offer thoughtful integration of faith and spirituality.

Having navigated my own journey through grief and trauma, I understand the power of being met with compassion and presence in life’s most difficult moments. I’m committed to walking alongside my clients as we make sense of their experiences, develop meaningful coping tools, and reconnect with the strength and hope already within each of us.
